The Mangalore Province held its Vocation Camp on 14 September 2026 at St Raymond English Medium School, Vamanjoor with 47 participants joining for a day of prayer, reflection, and fellowship.
The programme began with prayer and the lighting of the Diya, symbolizing God’s presence. Sr Dona Sanctis, BS, Province Vocation Coordinator, welcomed the participants and coordinated the camp with the support of the Local Vocation Animators. Sr Mariola, BS, Assistant Provincial Superior, encouraged the participants to listen to God’s call and discern His plan with openness and generosity.
Rev Fr Joyson Sujay Vas, SJ, reflected on listening to God’s voice, responding to His call, and committing oneself to humanity. Sr Jyotika introduced the participants to the Bethany Charism and Spirituality, emphasizing self-giving and service.
The day included meaningful activities, games, songs, and moments of interaction. Sr Wilma Mathew compered the programme. The camp was a grace-filled and joyful experience, inspiring the participants to deepen their faith and respond generously to God’s call.
