Rosa Mystica Convent solemnly celebrated Bethany Foundation Day and the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on 16 July in an atmosphere of profound prayer, thanksgiving, and joyful fraternity. The celebration was spiritually enriched by a nine-day novena and four hours of Eucharistic Adoration, leading the community to the solemn Eucharistic Celebration at 11.30 am, presided over by Fr Sunil MI and Fr Biju MI from Snehasadan.
In his inspiring homily, Fr Biju MI reflected on the life and vision of the Servant of God, Msgr RFC Mascarenhas, and our beloved Founder. He emphasized the Founder’s extraordinary courage and unwavering faith in responding to God’s call by establishing the Congregation at the age of 46. Drawing inspiration from his life, he invited the sisters to renew their generous “Yes” to God’s will in every situation “Anything that is demanded of us”.
Following the Eucharistic celebration, a festive meal was shared with the Candidates, Novices, Tertians, Sisters, Benefactors, and all those serving on the convent campus, fostering a spirit of communion and gratitude. The day’s celebrations concluded with a delightful cultural programme presented by the novices and sisters, whose vibrant performances added colour and joy to the occasion.
The entire celebration became a meaningful expression of thanksgiving to God for the precious gift of Bethany and for the inspiring legacy of our beloved Founder, strengthening the resolve of all to continue his mission with renewed zeal and commitment.
