The most impactful part of the program was the session by the resource person, Mrs Jyothi Misquith, on Positive Parenting. She shared many practical tips for today’s parents:
Use four magical words at home: I love you, Thank you, Sorry, Excuse me.
Be gentle and understanding with your children.
Appreciate their efforts and correct mistakes with love.
Avoid comparing your child with others.
Encourage their talents in activities like drawing, dancing, singing, and games.
Limit mobile phone usage; avoid giving too much screen time.
Be alert about children’s use of apps like Instagram and Facebook.
Be a role model—your actions speak louder than words.
Promote outdoor play and family bonding.
Spend quality time, listen to your children, and build their confidence.
Her message was inspiring and left a strong impression on everyone present.
The program concluded with the School Anthem and a heartfelt vote of thanks to all dignitaries, parents, and the guest speaker.
