St Raymond’s Pre-University College, Vamanjoor is a minority Institution run by Bethany Educational Society, Mangaluru.

This college is a dream sown by Mgr RFC Mascharenhas the Servant of God, who was fired with a zeal to provide education to the masses, especially the rural poor and the marginalized. Our institution has been a beacon of light to the young generation over the years and provides a platform for individual thinking and holistic development of each one’s personality.

Our Institution strives at the formation of persons who are intellectually competent, who will think critically, act effectively in various situations of life and will be emotionally well balanced, radiating happiness and contentment all around.

The goal of our educational endeavour is fullness of life for all, especially the marginalized, the rural poor and the girls, through an integrated formation in partnership with God to build His Kingdom.

Founding and Early Years

Realizing this dream of our Beloved Founder and as a response to the plead of the people of the locality in the year 2001, Rev. Sr Christella BS, the Provincial Superior, Rev  Sr Inviolate BS, the Correspondent and  Rev Sr Cicilia Mendonca the founder Principal sow the seed of St Raymond’s Pre- University College Vamanjoor. Initially the P U College was established with Commence and Arts stream with 40 students.  From the infancy stage itself, P U College provided an ample of opportunities to the students to explore their talents through various co-curricular activities. Presently Sr Anita Lydia BS   serves as a Principal   of St Raymond’s PU College and working tirelessly for the betterment of our institution and to the holistic development of the students.

 Sr Dr Mariola BS Serves as a Correspondent and works intelligently for the betterment of the Institution.

Committed Faculty: With the Service of the dedicated band of staff the college has seen significant expansion. Today this institution proudly accommodates 540 students across Science, Commerce & Arts streams. This growth reflects its increasing popularity and the trust placed in it by the students and parents alike. Students are learning with PCMB, PCMC, HEBA, EBAC, EBAS, HEPS with the service of 18 teaching & 05 Non – Teaching

Academic Excellence: The college has consistently delivered outstanding results in Board exams. In 2024 March examination Madhushree of II PUC commerce/ Computer Science secured 6th Rank in the state with 592/600 with 99%. The   overall results are on the increase 98%.

Holistic Development:

Apart from the Academics the students are encouraged to participate in cultural, sports and extra-curricular activities.  Excellent counselling services are given to the students.

 Our students have exhibited their great talents in cultural events, sports and games and brought laurels to the institution. Students have developed the qualities of   social service by actively involving themself in NSS & Rovers and Rangers unit. Regular value education & catechism classes, once a month Eucharistic celebration to the catholic students, help in the character formation of the students. The outreach programs, seminars and excursion events helped the students to think beyond the classrooms. Every year the academic results of the students are better.

Over the years the college has upgraded its facilities to provide a conducive learning environment including well-equipped laboratories, a library, spacious playground. The infra structure has been significantly improved creating a conducive learning atmosphere. St Raymonds has been recognised for its best facilities by the Educational Department and Board Examinations of PUC and SSLC, UGCET, KSET, Final Practical Examinations are conducted Since 2015.  Over the years SRPUC has excelled in all avenues
