Second Division Clerk – 38 Years and 9 Months of Faithful Service
St Raymond’s High School, Vamanjoor, bid a heartfelt farewell to Mrs Irene Molly Braggs, who retired after rendering an extraordinary 38 years and 9 months of dedicated service as Second Division Clerk. The farewell programme was a meaningful tribute to a woman whose quiet commitment, gentle presence, and loyal service have become part of the very fabric of the institution.
The event began with a prayer service, seeking God’s blessings for Mrs. Molly as she embarks on her new journey. A graceful welcome dance followed, setting a tone of joy and celebration. A short, thought-provoking skit titled “HANATE” was performed, echoing values of perseverance and purpose—qualities deeply reflected in Mrs. Molly’s professional life.
The programme was graced by Sr Cecilia Mendonca, Deputy Secretary of the Bethany Educational Society (BES) and Correspondent of St Raymond’s High School, who presided over the event. Sr Lavita, Superior of St Raymond’s Convent and a member of the BES Sub-Committee, also honoured the occasion with her presence and words of appreciation.

A special moment of nostalgia unfolded with the presence of Sr Sujatha, the first Headmistress under whom Mrs Molly began her journey. Adding to the warmth of the occasion, Mrs Lilly Braggs, Mrs Molly’s eldest sister, and other close family members joined in the celebration, making the day truly memorable.
The entire programme stood as a tribute of gratitude, admiration, and love for Mrs Molly Braggs. Her quiet strength, unwavering sense of duty, and deep-rooted values have touched many lives over the decades. Her commitment was not just to her role but to the heart and soul of the school community.
In a gracious and touching gesture, Mrs Molly Braggs herself hosted lunch for all—a final act of generosity that perfectly captured her spirit of service and care.
As the school community came together to honour her legacy, there was a deep sense of thankfulness for all that she has been to the institution. She leaves behind not just memories, but a legacy of integrity, humility, and quiet excellence.
