We celebrated Umbrella Day joyfully on July 8th 2025 at Sacred Hearts’ School, Kulshekar. Children came in uniform carrying their own umbrellas. We welcomed the guest with an umbrella, and the teachers explained the uses and importance of umbrellas. Children also spoke a few lines about how umbrellas help us during rain and sun.
Children sang different umbrella rhymes and took part in fun activities like cloud and thumb printing. They drew colourful umbrellas and displayed them on the notice board. The classrooms were decorated with umbrellas, adding to the joy of the celebration.
Later, the children were taken outside to enjoy playing with umbrellas in the light rain. They were very happy and excited. It was a fun-filled and educational day for everyone.
