RPL Cricket Match at St Raymond PU College

The atmosphere at St Raymond PU College was electrifying on 26 September 2025 RPL (Raymond Premier League) cricket tournament unfolded with thrilling energy and unmatched enthusiasm. Conducted section-wise, the inter-class competition brought out the best of young sporting talent, teamwork, and the spirit of healthy rivalry.

The day began with an opening ceremony marked by cheers and applause, as students from all streams gathered to support their respective teams. Each section fielded their best players, and from the very first ball, it was evident that the matches were going to be fiercely competitive.

As the games progressed, the college grounds echoed with excitement – boundaries were cheered, wickets were celebrated, and every moment brought spectators to the edge of their seats. Players showcased exceptional skill and sportsmanship, making it a day to remember for everyone involved.

The final match was a true spectacle. With both II C4 and II Arts  & IC4 and IC1 teams giving it their all, the contest came down to the last over, where nerves of steel and strategic brilliance decided the outcome. The winning team IIC4 and IIC1 celebrated with well-deserved pride, while the runners-up IC4 and IC1 were applauded for their commendable effort and determination.

This RPL event wasn’t just about winning or losing – it was about building camaraderie, showcasing talent, and strengthening the Raymondian spirit. The enthusiasm of the players, the support from the spectators, and the excellent coordination by the college staff made the event a grand success.

Principal Dr Sr Sadhana BS, faculty, and sports coordinator Mr Jayaram Gowda  congratulated all the participants for their energy, discipline, and sportsmanship. Special appreciation was given to the organizing committee for flawlessly conducting such a dynamic event.
