October 3rd 2025 Rosa Mystica PU College concluded its NSS camp with a meaningful and inspiring valedictory ceremony at Little flower High School, kinnigoly.
It was graced by esteemed dignitaries. Presiding over the event, Rev Sr Dr Lilly Pereira BS, Bethany Provincial Superior and Corporate Manager, emphasized that true education is reflected not just in academic achievement but in resilience, service, and compassion.
Rev Fr Joachim Fernandes, Parish Priest, offered his blessings, reflecting on nature as life’s greatest teacher, urging students to stay rooted in values like trees and live freely yet harmoniously like birds.
Sri Mithuna Kodettur president of Mulki Kannada Sahitya Parishad highlighted that education gains depth when blended with real –life experiences. Other dignitaries – Shri Sudhakar Shetty, Shri Michael Pinto, Heric Pais, Deepak Rodrigues, Usha (PTA Member), and Sr Anita Lydia BS Principal, motivated the students to embrace discipline, social responsibility, and nation-building through NSS.
A special honour was bestowed upon Mr Avil R D’Silva, NSS Coordinator and Vice Principal, who was felicitated with a shawl by Sr Dr Lilly Pereira BS for his meticulous leadership. Senior volunteers Vajra, Ronald, Natasha, Rakshitha, and Nikhil were also recognized for their commendable contribution.
Ms Ashwitha Serravo welcomed the gathering, Ms Natasha proposed the vote of thanks, while Mr Avil Dsilva efficiently compered the programme. Sincere gratitude was extended to Sr Premlatha BS and Sr Dr Lolita Pereira BS for their vital support and significant contribution to the camp’s success.
The ceremony reinforced the NSS spirit of “Not Me, But You”.
