With the powerful theme “Work together for a better future”, Rosa Mystica PU College hosted its annual Parent-Teacher Meet on 09 July 2025 in the college auditorium. The event was held with grandeur and a spirit of solemn purpose.
The ceremony began on a spiritual note, with a graceful prayer followed by an elegant welcome dance. The formal inauguration was marked by the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Sr Anita Lydia, Principal of Rosa Mystica PU College, extended a heartfelt welcome to the dignitaries, faculty, students, and parents. Mr Avil Renil Dsilva presented a comprehensive overview of the college’s academic and co-curricular activities over the past year.
A key highlight of the event was a session by renowned resource person Rev Fr Cyril Lobo from Udupi. He delivered an insightful talk on the responsibilities of parents in nurturing today’s youth. Fr Lobo emphasized the importance of open communication between parents and children, awareness of children’s social environments, and strategies for instilling discipline and values—key elements in preparing children for future challenges.
Sr Roselyta BS, President of the PTA, addressed the gathering, urging parents to stay actively involved in their children’s academic and emotional well-being. She underscored the significance of a collaborative partnership between home and school for the holistic development of students.
Mr Deepak Kottian Vice President of the PTA, delivered an inspiring speech on positive parenting. It focused on raising children with compassion, a sense of responsibility, and a global perspective. He reiterated the vital role of parents in shaping the character and future of their children.
The event also featured a report presentation by Mrs Deeksha, highlighting the key achievements and contributions of the PTA during the last academic year. Mrs Deepa delivered the vote of thanks, appreciating the dedicated efforts of the PTA members, lecturers, and parents in making the event a success. The program was efficiently compered by Ms Sujatha Sanil.
