Bethany English medium school, Kinnikambla was started on 30th May 2014 with 95 students with Sr Sylvine Sequeira as its first Headmistress and Sr Concetta as the first Correspondent, under the State Board of Karnaka. Bethany School is under the management of “The Bethany Educational Society, Mangalore®, with its goal “Transformative Education for fullness of Life towards Human Fraternity”. This leads to the spiritual, intellectual, moral, physical, emotional and an integrated all-round development of all our students.

As the years passed by, it was felt by the local public and the parents of the existing Bethany English medium School that the educational weapon required to be sharpened by raising it to CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) as per the contemporary scenario of the society. The passion ignited by the parents was totally supported by the management and there came into existence a magnificent building for the realization of their educational dream and the School was affiliated into CBSE in the year 2021 with Sr Anitha Tressy Pais as its first Principal.

Bethany School (CBSE) is at its blooming stage. Its growth is at a high speed. The School which was started with 95 students under the State Board of Karnataka has 840 Students at present under Central Board of Education. We welcome this steady and healthy speed, thanks to the hard and strenuous efforts of Sr Anitha Tressy Pais the Principal, the dedicated staff, Sr Roselyta BS the Correspondent, the support of the parents and the Management. Each child that enters the portal of the school is considered a blessing to us with umpteen potentials in each. The people friendly atmosphere of the school attracts many in the locality and surrounding vicinity. The infrastructure of the School with a beautiful façade and facilities makes teaching-learning process experiential and enriching.

The School plans its regular schedule well in advance for study and activity. Therefore, along with the academic studies, the school gives ample opportunities for extra-curricular activities to bring out the innate talents of the students. The enrichment program for students include all types of activities like: dance, drama, music, singing, drawing, essay, fancy dress, clay modeling, science models, quiz, memory test, sports and games, scout-guides, cub-bulbul, health & wellness programme, public speaking, financial literacy, competitive exams, career guidance together  with parents, Retreat,  Social service week etc. All these and many more activities empower our students to become empathetic individuals, to build their self- confidence, to learn more about their strengths and to readdress their weaknesses.

The Staff keeps abreast in learning as they faithfully attend seminars on Science, Mathematics and Language skills. The staff and students work hand in hand to develop themselves towards fullness of life with fruits like, God experience, serenity, peace, joy, truthfulness, compassion, service, justice and love to humanity.
