The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) General Body Meeting was convened on 03.07.2025 under the esteemed leadership of Sr Cicilia Mendonca, who presided over the gathering as President of the PTA.

The proceedings commenced on a gracious note with a Welcome Dance by the students and heartfelt welcome extended by Sr Cyntha D Cunha, setting a congenial and collaborative tone for the meeting. The programme was seamlessly anchored by Mrs Anitha Valder, who, as the Master of Ceremony ensured the smooth and dignified flow of events.

A key highlight of the meeting was the enlightening address delivered by the distinguished Resource Person, Mr Richard Alvares, whose thought-provoking session centred on the holistic development of students and the pivotal role parents play in nurturing and shaping their growth. His insights and practical guidance left the gathering motivated to strengthen the shared commitment towards the all-round progress of every child.

Subsequently, the Secretary, Mrs Shalini K, presented a comprehensive report and the minutes of the previous meeting, apprising the members of the various activities undertaken and the milestones achieved through the concerted efforts of the PTA.

As the meeting drew to a close, Mrs Shilpa proposed a sincere and gracious Vote of Thanks, conveying heartfelt appreciation to the President, the Resource Person, the teaching faculty, parents, and students for their enthusiastic participation and steadfast support.

The session concluded with a renewed resolve to nurture an enduring partnership between parents and teachers, founded on trust and mutual cooperation. Echoing the sentiment that “When parents and teachers work together, great things happen for children,” the PTA pledged to deepen this collaboration through regular interactions, constructive dialogue, and meaningful initiatives. Plans were articulated to organise further workshops and awareness programmes, empowering parents to actively contribute to their children’s educational journey and overall well-being.
