Pilgrims of Hope: A Journey of Compassion and Faith

The BLA unit of St Raymond’s Convent, Vamanjoor, embarked on a spiritual pilgrimage on 26 February 2025  , carrying the mission of spreading hope and love to those in need. Inspired by the spirit of the Servant of God, RFC Mascarenhas, the members visited Mother Teresa Home in Falnir, where they extended their support to the less fortunate.

With hearts filled with generosity, the BLA members offered 100 kg of rice to the home and spent time with the inmates, bringing them comfort through their presence and care. Listening to the heartfelt stories of the homeless, they were deeply moved by their struggles and responded with love and compassion.

The pilgrimage then continued to Our Lady of Fatima Church, Thanirubavi, where the group engaged in a moment of deep spiritual reflection. Kneeling in prayer, they fervently recited the Rosary, seeking divine blessings for all those in need.

Guided by Sr Lavita the BLA animator, supported by Sr Grecy Bennis, and    Sr Anita Lydia, the pilgrimage was a profound experience of faith in action-demonstrating that true hope is found in reaching out to others with kindness and empathy.
