Mrs Caroline Gretta Lobo
Students of 3rd standard at Sacred Heats’ Hr Pry School, Kulshekar, Mangaluru, conducted the morning assembly on 5th July 2025, in observance of Muharram.
The programme began with a short welcome speech, followed by a prayer to start the assembly in a meaningful way.
A student spoke about Muharram, focussing on its historical background and the values it represents.
This was followed by a qawwali presented by the students, which carried a meaningful connection to the occasion of Muharram. A group dance was also presented adding to the depth and variety of the programme. The assembly concluded with a speech by the Headmistress, Sr Rita Sharal, who addressed the gathering with her thoughtful words.
