“Children are great imitators. So give them something great to imitate.”

On 2nd  July 2025, Bethany English Medium School, Bajpe, organized a Mobile Awareness Program for the little learners of Nursery, LKG, UKG, and Grade 1. The aim was to help the children understand, in a simple and fun way, how too much mobile usage can affect their eyes, mind, and behavior.

To make the message clear and engaging, the teachers and non-teaching staff presented a lively mono act showing both the harmful effects of mobile phones and the importance of good manners. The children watched with great interest as the scenes highlighted how mobiles can hurt their eyes and take away playtime, while also showing the value of listening to elders and being kind.

At the end of the program, the Headmistress, Sr Veena, lovingly addressed the children and reminded them to spend more time playing, talking with family, and learning new things—without getting stuck to screens.

The program was a big success and helped even the youngest students start thinking about how to use mobile phones safely and wisely.
