Rosa Mystica Pre-University College witnessed a vibrant and reverent celebration of the 105th Bethany Foundation Day, commemorating the legacy and mission of the Bethany Congregation’s founder, Servant of God RFC Mascarenhas on July 15, 2025
The event began with a soulful prayer song led by Avil Dsilva Vice principal followed by an elegant welcome dance.
The Principal Sr Anita Lydia BS addressed the gathering with inspiring words, emphasizing the relevance of the founder’s vision in today’s world. A special moment of the day was the speech by the First principal of the college Sr Jessy Rita BS who presided over the event. Her heartfelt reminiscence and reflections added emotional depth and historical perspective to the celebration.
As a tribute to the founder the students performed the Bethany Anthem expressing their love and gratitude through melodious harmony. The program also featured a skit on the core values upheld by the Bethany institution
A video presentation showcasing the life, vision, and works of the founder provided an insightful glimpse into the foundation’s impactful journey over the decades. To conclude, a quiz competition based on the founder’s life led by Mr Lakshman Lecturer in Commerce, engaged the students and tested their knowledge in a lively and educational format. The Program Skilfully hosted by Ms Niyaf fathima, The Dignitaries welcomed with a heartfelt address by Ms Aamena Rimash. Ms Mashitha Delivered the Vote of Thanks.
The celebration was a beautiful blend of faith, the day left everyone inspired to walk in the footsteps of the founder and to continue the mission of spreading light through education and service.
