The three-day Healing in Jesus Seminar from August 15th – 17th was a profound spiritual experience that helped us to recognize, awaken, and exercise the power and authority given to us by Christ to heal ourselves and others.
A total of 36 participants were guided by the resource person, Fr. George Cordeiro SJ, to draw from the power of the Word of God and the living presence of Christ to bring healing to the body, mind, heart, and spirit.
The seminar was held at The Retreat House, 6 Kane Road, Bandra West, Mumbai–50. From the Bethany Congregation, Sr. Pavithra and Sr. Vidya L. Pinto participated in this life-giving encounter.
In Jesus Christ, God has already blessed us with the authority to heal and cure various diseases. This divine power was accessed and activated through faith and prayerful surrender during the sessions. The mixed group of participants created a rich environment of sharing and mutual encouragement, helping us to deepen the Christ-like values of faith, hope, and love.
Our journey began with the life-affirming truth: “I am the Image and Likeness of God. I am created in love, as love, for love, and to love.”
This conviction became the foundation of our days together, leading us to rediscover God’s healing presence within and around us. Truly, these three days were a sacred time of renewal, transformation, and empowerment in Christ.
