The KG students of St Raymond’s Pre-Primary School, Vamanjoor joyfully celebrated Green Day and Vanamahotsava on 8th July 2025, creating a vibrant and eco-friendly atmosphere within the campus.
The event was graced by Sr Manisha Rodrigues, the Headmistress, and Mrs Anitha, the School Counsellor. Dressed in delightful green attire, both students and teachers radiated freshness and unity with nature.
The day began with lively action songs centered around the theme of greenery and environmental care. The enthusiasm and voices of our little ones filled the air with energy and excitement.
As a symbolic gesture of commitment to nature, a sapling was planted immediately after the program, reinforcing the value of nurturing and growth.
Throughout the day, the children engaged in a variety of creative activities, including preparing a colorful and healthy salad using green sprouts they proudly brought from home. It was a hands-on way to promote healthy eating and sustainable living.
The celebration was a fantastic blend of learning, creativity, and environmental awareness, leaving lasting impressions on young minds and reminding everyone of the beauty and importance of going green.
