Fresher’s day was joyfully celebrated at Rosa Mystica P U College on 14 June 2025 with the inspiring theme “Learn, Grow, Shine”. The faculty and second PUC students greeted the freshers a floral welcome symbolizing friendship and good will. The event was inaugurated by lighting a diya, signifying the beginning of a bright and enlightened academic journey.
The program opened with a prayer service led by the students under the guidance of Mr Avil Dsilva the Vice principal. This was followed by a graceful welcome dance performed by the students. A highlight of the day was the ceremonial welcome of the return of Sr Anita Lydia a principal after 4 years a person chosen by God, to shoulder the responsibility of Rosa Mystica.
Sr Roselyta the correspondent unveiled the meaning of freshers by inviting the students to be faithful, respectful, enthusiastic, and honest. Her presence enhanced our joy. Sr Anita Lydia in her address called upon the faculty and the students to be a blessing to one another and work together for a successful year.
The college also proudly welcomed newly joined faculty who were introduced and felicitated by the correspondent and other dignitaries.
A proud moment for Rosa Mystica PU College was the presence of Ms Deona DSouza a distinguished alumna an advocate who graced the occasion. She motivated the students through her very presence and heartfelt words expressing deep gratitude to her Alma- mater and the faculty for laying the foundation of her success.
Mr Laxman lecturer in Commerce delivered an inspiring motivational talk, encouraging students to pursue excellence with a dedication and confidence.
The program included vibrant cultural performance by students showcasing their talents and spirit.
The event was seamlessly conducted by Mrs Esha Dsouza lecturer in Commerce. Mrs Supriya Lecturer in English creatively welcomed the gathering while Mrs Deeksha lecturer in Hindi proposed a heartfelt Vote of thanks.
The freshers day celebration set a joyful and encouraging tone for the academic year filled with learning growth and shining new facility.
