Foundation Stone laid at Bethany CBSE School, Kinnikambla

Sr Sadhana BS

On the auspicious Feast of the Visitation of Our Blessed Mother, a day that celebrates Mary’s journey of love and service to her cousin Elizabeth, Bethany CBSE School, Kinnikambla experienced a deeply spiritual and historic moment—the Blessing and Laying of the Foundation Stone for its new school block. Just as Mary carried the light of Christ into Elizabeth’s home, this new beginning symbolizes the dawn of fresh hope, knowledge, and service in the hearts of future generations.

The solemn and grace-filled ceremony was led by Rev Fr Prashanth, OP, who prayerfully invoked God’s blessings upon the land, the construction, and all those who will be shaped by the educational mission it represents. His presence brought spiritual depth to the event, reminding us that every worthy mission begins in prayer and faith.

The laying of the foundation stone was ceremoniously initiated by Rev Sr Lilly Pereira, Provincial Superior of the Mangalore Province. Her inspiring leadership and words reflected the enduring vision of the Bethany Educational Society—to nurture minds and hearts through transformative education rooted in Gospel values.

The celebration was blessed by the esteemed presence of:

  • Sr Dona, BS, Provincial Councillor
  • Sr Leena Pereira, Superior, Rosa Mystica Convent, Kinnikambla
  • Sr Roselyta, Correspondent
  • Sr Anitha Tressy, Principal, Bethany CBSE School
  • Mr Richard Rodrigues, Contractor

Their participation added grace and meaning to the occasion, reinforcing a collective commitment to shaping a future where learning is both a gift and a mission.

The ceremony was thoughtfully anchored by Sr Sadhana, whose gentle leadership and coordination gave a personal and prayerful rhythm to the proceedings.

This new school block stands not only as a structure of bricks and mortar but as a living testament to the values of faith, excellence, integrity, and service. As we lay its foundation on this sacred feast day, we entrust this mission to the loving guidance of our Blessed Mother and the providence of God. May this new beginning become a beacon of light, knowledge, and compassion for generations to come.
