In a landmark event marking Bethany Foundation Day, four communities: Badyar, Nirkan, Siddakatte, and Taccode, came together on 20th July 2025 at Siddakatte in the afternoon for prayer, fellowship, and festive celebration.
The gathering began promptly at 1 pm, with palpable excitement filling the air as for the first time these communities had united for such an occasion. Fifteen sisters took part, with Sr Rita Felcy leading the gathering in an opening prayer, followed by a warm welcome from Sr Reshma.
A highlight of the event was the shared meal, featuring dishes lovingly prepared and brought by each community.
After lunch, the mood turned to celebration under the guidance of Sr Janet, joined by sisters from Badyar and Nirkan, who led a series of delightful recreational activities and games. Laughter and joyous conversation echoed throughout as members relaxed into the communal spirit.
Before concluding, Sr Reena thanked the Superiors and Sisters for their enthusiastic involvement. Many attendees voiced their hope to make the gathering an annual tradition—and also expressed eagerness to plan a joint pilgrimage to Velankani.
The celebration concluded at 4.30 pm with a cup of tea before the group joyfully dispersed.
