The Golden Jubilee of Religious Profession of Sr Aloysia BS and Sr Dulcine Menezes BS was joyfully celebrated on Sunday, 11 January 2026, at Rosa Mystica Convent, Kinnikambla with profound gratitude to God for their 50 years of faithful consecrated life.
The solemn Eucharistic Celebration at 10.30 am was presided over by Rev Fr Arun D’Souza, OP, a Dominican priest, at the Rosa Mystica Convent Chapel. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Rev Sr Lilly Pereira BS, the Provincial Superior, along with her councillors. The celebration was further honoured by the presence of Rev Fr Rudolf Ravi Dsa, the Parish Priest of Pompei Church, Kawdoor, sisters from various communities, family members, and well-wishers.
The presence of Sr Leena Pereira BS Rosa Mystica Convent and Sr Jaya, the Superior Pompei convent Kawdoor, added special significance to the celebration. A graceful prayer dance presented by the novices set a prayerful tone for the event. Sr Leena Pereira, the Superior, warmly welcomed the gathering, while Sr Jaya raised a toast in honour of the Jubilarians. The programme was efficiently facilitated by Sr Jacintha D’Souza.
The celebration was witnessed by novices, candidates, and community sisters, whose active participation and hard work added vibrancy and success to the occasion. The felicitation and fellowship that followed strengthened bonds of unity and gratitude. A sumptuous meal was served to all, bringing the joyful celebration to a fitting close.
The Golden Jubilee stood as a testimony to God’s steadfast love and the lifelong commitment of the Jubilarians to religious life and service.
