Family Get-Together at St Raymond Convent, Vamanjoor

“A religious family is a cradle of grace, blessings, and love.”

On the 15th morning at 10.00 am, the Family Get-Together at St Raymond Convent, Vamanjoor began with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, invoking God’s abundant blessings upon all our families. The Holy Mass was solemnly officiated by Rev Fr Jeevan Shailesh Lobo the Assistant parish priest of St Joseph the Worker Church Vamanjoor, who in his inspiring homily beautifully highlighted three powerful truths: a religious family is a cradle of grace, a cradle of blessings, and a cradle of love. He reminded us that wherever a religious is present in a family, that family receives hundred-fold blessings from God. Rev Fr Vipin, Allahabad Diocese the nephew of Sr Chrysantha concelebrated the Eucharist and also led the grace before the meal, adding to the spiritual richness of the occasion.

The celebration continued in the community hall with a warm welcome by Superior Sr Lavita Moras. Sisters introduced their families, fostering a spirit of unity, while lively games organized by the sisters added joy and excitement. Compered by Sr Gracy Bennis, the event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Sr Paulet. After a sumptuous meal and cherished moments together, families departed with grateful hearts, marking a day of faith, love, and strengthened bonds.
