Sr Manisha Rodrigues
The club inauguration ceremony of St Raymond’s English Medium School Vamanjoor commenced on 1st July 2025 at 9.15 am with great enthusiasm and participation. The program opened with a soulful prayer song, followed by a vibrant welcome dance that set the tone for the event.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Sr Mariola, Province Coordinator for Education, and she was warmly welcomed with floral greetings. Mrs Ikbal Hasan, PTA Vice- President, was also present and extended a gracious welcome.
The symbolic inauguration of the clubs was jointly carried out by Sr Mariola, Mrs Ikbal Hasan, Sr Manisha Rodrigues, the Headmistress, and the in-charge teachers. Their presence added significance to the ceremony and inspired the students.
The various clubs introduced this year include:
– Science Club
– Eco Club
– Sports Club
– Social Service Club
– Cub and Bulbul
– Scout and Guide
– Little Way Association
– Bethany Champions
Students actively came forward to express their goals and aspirations for each club, reflecting their excitement and commitment. A short skit emphasizing the importance of helping the elderly was performed with empathy and followed by a lively group dance by the students.
In a special moment of appreciation, Sr Mariola, Province Coordinator for Education was honored for her dedicated service to the institution as Correspondent over the past year. Her inspiring message urged the students to embrace every opportunity for personal growth and holistic well-being.
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, marking the beginning of a year filled with purpose, collaboration, and service through these diverse clubs.
