Mangalore Province celebrates the Province Day
The communities of Mangalore Province came to together to celebrate the Province day on 7th December 2025, at the Bethany Provincialate, Vamanjoor. It was a beautiful Sangam of the 34 communities of the province, a day of meeting one another, to share, exchange and raise our grateful hearts to God for His marvellous blessings on the province. The day was set with the Solemn Eucharistic celebration officiated by Fr Prakash Wilfred D Souza, the director of St Joseph’s Engineering College Vamanjoor. In his homily he emphasized on advent challenges of building bridges of peace, harmony, bearing fruits of repentance and to walk the advent path of hope harmony and holiness.
BLA convention invites 8 Units to be on fire for Mission
The Zonal Level BLA Convention held at Bethany Provincialate, Vamanjoor, on 22.10.2025 brought together units from Puttur, Taccode, Padukone, Basrur, Kulshekar, Kollangana, Kadaba, and Ajekar for a day of inspiration and renewal. The BLA members were 97. The theme of the Convention was “St Therese of Child Jesus is an inspiration for our missionary work”
Initiation Ceremony of Novices at Rosa Mystica
The initiation ceremony of 22 Pre-Novices into the Rosa Mystica Novitiate Kinnikambla was held on 07 June 2025. The Pre-Novices, coming from the Provinces of Guwahati, Silchar, Northern, Eastern, Western and Mangalore were joyfully welcomed into the Novitiate .
A Home Mission Experience
‘Home Mission’ was arranged in two Parishes, viz. St Antony Church, Padukone, Udupi diocese and Holy Cross Church, Manjotti, Mangalore diocese from April 26 to May 4, 2025.
Srs Shalet Dsouza, Suma, Florine, Jyothi, Prameela Dsouza, Deepthi Roshni and Sujatha Ekka—formed three dedicated teams and visited a total of 270 families in Padukone parish. The mission was not only a pastoral outreach but also a celebration of community life rooted in prayer and mutual care.
Perpetual Profession at Rosa Mystica Convent
The Perpetual Profession of three Tertians was held on 23rd April 2025 at Rosa Mystica convent, Kinnikambla. The Holy Eucharist was officiated by Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese and con-celebrated by eight priests.
