History

Bethany Lay Association unit started at Moodubelle convent on 4th March 2008 under the Superiorship of Sr Hilda Rodrigues. On a certain day she called few women together and explained theme, the meaning of B L A; purpose and their mission. Thus 9 members joined this group, gradually their number is increased. At present their number is 21.

Activites:

They visit the sick in their parish; render service to the parish community, they join with us for family visits. They are friendly with the sisters. They all joined for the celebration of Bethany Saints day - July 29th in the Convent. They took part in singing competition and B L A day celebration at Vamanjoor in a large number. Also few of them visited the Founders’ cottage and prayed to the Founder.
