Bethany School Kilpady Mulki Hosts Annual Day

Bethany English Medium Higher Primary School, Kilpady Mulki, celebrated its Annual Day on December 5, 2024, in the school auditorium with remarkable enthusiasm and grandeur. The event showcased a harmonious blend of cultural brilliance, academic excellence, and spirited festivities.

The program commenced with a ceremonial welcome for the distinguished guests. Among the dignitaries present were President Rev. Sr. Lilly Pereira BS, Corporate Manager of Mangalore Province; Guest of Honour Rev. Sr. Mariola BS, Assistant Provincial Superior and Educational Coordinator of Mangalore Province; Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Anil Kiran Fernandes SVD, Programme Coordinator of Divine Call Center Mulki; Mr. Vikas Shetty, President of Kilpady Gram Panchayat; Mr. Ashok Shetty, Retired Manager of Syndicate Bank; Sr. Meena BS, Superior of Madeleine Convent Mulki; Mrs. Jyothsana Dalmeida, Vice President of the Parent-Teacher Association; and Master Aahil Assadi, the Head Boy. They were escorted to the auditorium by Headmistress Sr. Rita Sharal BS, with the school band leading the way.

The event opened with a soulful invocation song performed by the school choir, followed by a vibrant welcome dance by the students. Kindergarten to Grade 2 students captivated the audience with their cultural performances, showcasing talent and creativity through mesmerizing dances.

Headmistress Sr. Rita Sharal BS formally welcomed the gathering, expressing her joy at the splendid occasion. The dignitaries honored students for their outstanding achievements in academics and extracurricular activities, lauding their dedication and hard work.

The celebrations continued with students from Grades 3 to 7 delivering enthralling traditional dances and a skit, which reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing creativity and cultural values.

The event was seamlessly compered by Sr. Jyothi and Mrs. Teena, while Mrs. Shashikala concluded the program with a heartfelt vote of thanks. The Annual Day celebration was a testament to the school’s holistic approach to education, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
