A seminar on Value Education was organized at Bethany English Medium Higher Primary School on 28th February 2025, focusing on the importance of moral values in students’ lives. The event aimed to instill ethical principles, good character, and a sense of responsibility among the students.
Students from grades 1 to 4 participated in the Value Education Day activities. The program kicked off with an inaugural speech by Mrs Dayavathi and Mrs Asha, who emphasized the importance of value-based education in shaping both individuals and society.
The guest of honuor for the day was Rev Fr Richard Dsouza, Assistant Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Church, Surathkal. The seminar began with a welcome speech by Mrs Teena, who highlighted the role of values in shaping an individual’s personality and future. The headmistress also extended a floral welcome to the guest.
The event commenced with a prayer led by the girls from Class 7, invoking God’s blessings. Students from Classes 5 to 7 actively participated in the program.
The seminar included engaging sessions on topics such as the value of life, leadership, and how to achieve success in life.
The Value Education Day was a great success, leaving the students with a stronger sense of responsibility and ethical awareness. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mariyam Fida.
