Bethany English Medium High School, Puttur

     Due to the untiring effort of the management and by the Co- operation of the educational authorities Bethany High School was established on 23rd March 2009 with English as the Medium of instruction.

Sr Emerita BS was appointed as the first Headmistress and Sr Doris BS was the correspondent of the school.  Sr Prashanthi BS the Headmistress of Little Flower School, untiringly worked for the permission from the educational department.

Sr Jacintha DSouza served as Headmistress for the past four years from 2018 -2022  At present the school is Headed by Sr Shanthi Agnes as Headmistress & Sr Prashanthi as Correspondent.

     This institution imparts quality education for 448 students under the motto “Transformative education for fullness of life.” It is marvelous to note that the school secured 100% result in SSLC examinations.  Apart from studies, they are prepared for various activities like scouts & Guides and sports. Every year the scouts and guides students complete their Thrithiya Sopana and Rajyapuraskar Exams with Mrs Maithrai (Teacher) as their animator.

High lights of the year 2024-2025

• Mrs Maithrai has achieved the highest qualification in the National Level Himalayan Wood Badge training at Dodda Ballapur, Bangalore.
• Mega event that popularized Bethany High School is “District Level Throw ball match held for junior and senior students on 18th
• Our Throw ball girls team participated in state Level Throw ball match at  Kolar from 9th January to 10th 2025 and won second  prize .
• Catholic students of our school have been registered to Bethany champions under the leadership of Sr Sunitha Mary DSouza.
• We have a vibrant Parent – Teachers association under the leadership of Mr Raghunatha Rai as Vice President.
• Rev Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta conducted the career guidance to the class X students.
• Mr Sathish Bhat and Mr Narayana Rai conducted the orientation for the parents and class 10th
