Sr Manisha Rodrigues
The General Body Meeting was held on 5th July 2025 at 9.30 am with great enthusiasm and a spirit of collaboration.
The dignitaries Sr Cicilia Mendonca, Correspondent and PTA President, Sr Lavita, the Superior, Mr Ankit S Kumar, the Resource Person (Counsellor at NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte), Mr Iqbal Hasan, PTA Vice President, and Sr Manisha Rodrigues, Headmistress were graciously escorted to the venue by the rhythmic beats of the school band.
The programme commenced with a soulful prayer song, followed by a graceful welcome dance performed by the students. The dignitaries were then ushered onto the stage, and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp symbolized the beginning of the event.
Mrs Patsy extended a warm welcome address, setting the tone for the morning. This was followed by an address by Sr Manisha Rodrigues, who laid down the school guidelines for the academic year.
Outstanding students were recognized and honored the highest achievers of Class 10, as well as Rishi, who had represented the school at the State Level in Throw Ball, were felicitated for their commendable achievements.
The resource person, Mr Ankit S Kumar, then addressed the gathering on the topic: “Parenting the New Generation – The Role of Parents in Children’s Development.” His insights offered valuable guidance to the parents in attendance.
This was followed by the reading of the PTA report, a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing PTA members, and a warm welcome to the newly elected PTA committee.
The event concluded with the presidential address by Sr Cicilia Mendonca, who shared meaningful guidelines for parents to foster greater partnership between school and home.
The programme ended with a sincere vote of thanks, marking the close of a fruitful and engaging session.
