On 20 December 2025, the Bethany Provincialate, Vamanjoor, came alive with the warmth and joy of Christmas as all the associates connected with our mission gathered at 7.00 pm. for a festive Christmas get-together. The evening was a beautiful expression of gratitude, unity, and shared purpose, reflecting the true spirit of the season.
The programme began by invoking God’s abundant grace through a prayer dance gracefully performed by the students of St Raymond’s High School.
A thought-provoking skit titled “Oil and the Wick” followed, conveying a powerful message on cooperation and mutual dependence. The presentation highlighted that every individual, regardless of role, plays an essential part in building a harmonious society.
The joy of Christ’s birth was beautifully heralded by the students of St Raymond’s English Medium School, whose lively and rhythmic dance brought cheer and festive enthusiasm to the gathering. Their performance filled the hall with the true joy and hope of Christmas.
Addressing the gathering, Sr Lilly Pereira, BS, the Provincial Superior, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the associates for their generous contribution and dedicated support in ensuring the smooth functioning of the day-to-day mission activities. She reminded everyone that Christmas is a feast of love, and this love is lived and shared through sincere service in our respective work areas. She further noted that the gathering felt like a family reunion, bringing together all those united in the Bethany mission.
The programme was compered by Sr Vidya Pinto, while Sr Flavia Wilma proposed the vote of thanks, acknowledging everyone who contributed to making the evening meaningful and memorable.
The celebration concluded with a fellowship dinner, where everyone gathered around the table as one family, sharing food, laughter, and festive cheer—strengthening bonds and reaffirming our shared commitment to the mission.
