Maryvale High School, Kinnigoli

MARYVALE ENGLISH MEDIUM HIGH SCHOOL KINNIGOLI was established in 2006 and it is managed by the Pvt. Unaided. It is located in rural area. It is located in MANGALURU NORTH block of DAKSHINA KANNADA district of Karnataka. The school consists of Grades from 8 to 10. Before 1997, there were no Catholic English Medium Schools in Kinnigoli. Hence the need was felt by the people of Kinnigoli to have an English Medium School for their children to study and progress in life. As a response to the repeated request of the public, Maryvale Primary School came into existence which later grew up as a High School in June 2006 under the patronage of Mary, Mother of God.

The school with its motto ‘Education for fullness of life’ strives hard to offer the best to the students. The Staff is dedicated with a single minded devotion towards the welfare of the students. In 19 years thousands of students have completed their SSLC with outstanding results.

Sr Roselyta BS was appointed as the first Headmistress from 2006 to 2011. She was known for her dedication, commitment and motherly heart. Thereafter Sr Sagaya Selvi took the responsibility as Headmistress from 2011 to 2014. Sr Shanthi Agnes became the Headmistress from 2015-2022 and presently Sr Jacintha DSouza is the Headmistress from 2022.

The following sisters served as correspondents Sr Premlatha (2006-2011), Sr Roselyta (2011 to 2012), Sr Acquilla (2012-2013) Sr Juliana Monis (2013-2015), and Sr Sybil (2015-2016), Sr Divina (2016-2022), Sr Lilly Pereira (2022-2024)  served as Correspondents. They took interest in the development of the school and guided ably its activities. Presently Sr Maureen is the Correspondent of the school.

The school trains the young minds in values, to be persons who are thoughtful of others, promoters of peace, unity, equality and love. They excel in curricular and co-curricular activities and move up to State level in different events.
