History

The Bethany Lay Association (BLA) unit of Lisieux Convent, Puttur, was established on 29th September 2011, with 33 founding members. Over the years, the unit has grown in strength and spirit, currently comprising 28 dedicated members. Through the activities, the BLA unit of Lisieux Convent, Puttur, strives to live out the values of compassion, service, and community, inspired by the charism of the Bethany Congregation.

Activites:

● Visiting the sick and elderly ● Funeral house assistance ● Supporting poor children, especially those from Little Flower School, with educational needs ● Participating in Foundation Day and BLA Day celebrations ● Assisting in church activities, such as choir, Legion of Mary, SVP, and other associations ● Organizing Christmas celebrations ● Conducting regular meetings for spiritual growth and fellowship
