The World Environment Day was celebrated at Sacred Hearts High School, Kulshekar on 5th June at 9.30 am. The Students of Class IX B along with their Class teacher Mrs Shilpa executed the program. The program began with a prayer for the environment followed by the prayer song.  Then the students  shared information on the Environment day  along with the facts of Plastic Pollution through Slogans and the students also performed a skit showing the causes of pollution and ways to control it. Then all the students took an oath lead by Physical education  teacher Mrs Flavia to preserve the nature and practice eco-friendly habits. Then the Chief guest of the day Headmistress  Sr Cynthia inspired the students with her motivational speech she urged the students to plant saplings and to take care of it and emphasised that it is not only for one day but all need to take care of the trees throughout their life. All students were asked to  participate in a plantation drive at their locality/ Street along with their parents and to click a photo and the best ones will be awarded with the exiting prizes. By engaging students in meaningful activities and fostering a sense of responsibility, we have instilled a passion for environmental conservation that will hopefully continue to inspire them in the years to come.
